Tufting Workshop in Marl – Design Your Own Rug

Want to make your own rug? At Fadenzoo in Marl, we’ll show you how tufting works in about 5–6 hours—step by step, no prior experience required.

You’ll work in a small group of no more than 4 people. Your chosen design will be projected onto the frame using a projector; you’ll select from over 90 yarn colors and get started. We’ll guide you personally throughout the entire workshop—from the first stitch to the finished rug.

Our studio in Marl-Brassert is easily accessible from throughout the Ruhr region via the A43 and A52—whether you’re coming from Recklinghausen, Essen, Gelsenkirchen, Bochum, or Dortmund. Free parking is available right outside the door.

Perfect for couples, groups of friends, or as a gift idea. Also bookable upon request as a private bachelor/bachelorette party workshop or small team event.
