Tulips am Weltbodentag
In the organizer's words:
This year, over 50,000 bottle caps were collected in the bottle cap collection box at Café Hasenschänke, and we’re converting the value of the metal into flower bulbs. The early-blooming bulbs must spend the winter in the ground so they can serve as the first source of food for bees and pollinators in early spring.
What could be better than digging your hands into the soil on World Soil Day?
Thanks to funding from the Neukölln District Office, the event is free of charge. The meeting point is the Jahn Monument in Volkspark Hasenheide, near the “An der Hasenheide” entrance.
