Young visitors ages seven to twelve can follow in the footsteps of mice on Saturday, October 3, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and playfully discover the life and work of Gustav Werner. The founder of the BruderhausDiakonie dedicated his life to actively helping people in need, founding, for example, preschools and industrial schools.

At the “Gustav Werner Forum” museum, children will be transported back to a time when this charming brick building in the heart of Reutlingen was surrounded by gardens, factories, and residential buildings. As a memento of the day, the young guests will craft their own little mouse from fabric scraps to take home. 

TheGustav Werner Forum, located in theformer “Krankenhäusle” at Manfred-Oechsle-Platz 2 in Reutlingen, can welcome up to 30 mouse fans at a time. No registration is required, though there may be short wait times. Parking is available nearby, as are bus and train stops.
