What does it sound like when three members of Seeed pursue their love of Afro-American and Caribbean music? Quite simply, it bounces, and it bounces TOTALLY! The proof is the instrumental EP "Jackie" by Tchamp, Based and El Gris aka Tutti Bounce, released in summer 2022. The trio is completed by Dirk Berger of The Krauts, the authority for lush beat productions. The modern Afro vibes and heavy psychedelic head-nodders provide an excellent stage for Berger's powerful guitar work. The lush tropical beats and grooves condense into contemporary urban sounds.

Silvan Strauss, producer and drummer from Hamburg, is considered one of the outstanding drummers of a generation that feels as much at home in jazz as in beatmaking and effortlessly combines both. On his debut album Facing, released last year on Kabul Fire Records, he joins forces with British jazz luminary Joe Armon-Jones (Ezra Collective, Nubya Garcia) and a line-up of Hamburg's most exciting new jazz talent, spanning a range from Badbadnotgood to Yussef Dayes to Kiefer.

In addition to his work with jazz/neo-soul quartet ToyToy, he has collaborated with Portuguese singer Maria João, trombonist Nils Landgren, Soweto Kinch and Kabul Fire founder and uber-producer Farhot. With Facing, Silvan Strauss complements the KFR releases in a special way, representing the organic and analog side of beatmaking.
