On October 12, Maaya presents "Two Berlins, One Groove: Afro Diasporic Club Culture Then & Now" – an evening exploring the history and future of Berlin’s club culture through Afro-diasporic perspectives. A photo exhibition highlights key venues, scenes, and communities from East and West Berlin, followed by a dialogue between contemporary witnesses and artists. The night culminates in a musical journey through the decades, blending sounds from funk and hip-hop to house, techno, and today’s global beats. Maaya creates bridges between generations and communities – celebrating the power of music, culture, and solidarity.
