Tyreek McDole

Tyreek McDole is a 24-year-old Haitian-American singer from Florida and currently one of the brightest shining stars on the New York jazz scene. Hailed as a bold new voice in jazz, his debut album "Open Up Your Senses" in 2025 garnered him a slew of prestigious awards for this artistic statement, carrying on the legacy of jazz with a powerful voice and unmistakable energy.

In 2023, Tyreek won 1st place at the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition. As one of the most significant events in the jazz world, this competition is considered a career springboard - and McDole's award now places him in the ranks of previous winners, including outstanding female artists Samara Joy (2019) and Jazzmeia Horn (2013). Tyreek is only the second man in the competition's 12-year history to win the title.

Tyreek made his vocal debut in 2018 at Jazz at Lincoln Center's prestigious Essentially Ellington National Competition, where he was awarded the prestigious Outstanding Vocalist Award. Since then, he has shared the stage with an impressive roster of musicians including Theo Croker, NEA Jazz Master Gary Bartz, Miki Yamanaka, Mike King, Rodney Whitaker, Winard Harper, Marcus Printup, Eric Reed, Carl Allen, Victor Goines and many others.

With his roots deeply anchored in the musical soil of the Caribbean, New York, Florida and beyond, McDole now enchants the vibrant streets of New York City - leaving an indelible mark on the vibrant fabric of global music. And now: Live in Dortmund!
