On June 6 at 10 pm, the Cannes award-winning film UN POETA will be screened at the Zebra Poetry Film Festival in Berlin.

What is it about?

Óscar Restrepo's obsession with poetry has not yet brought him fame. He has become a living cliché of the unsuccessful poet, moody, often drunk and constantly broke. When he meets Yurlady - a teenager from the social underclass with astonishing talent - a spark of light germinates in his shadowy existence. His idea to present her at Medellin's poetry festival seems to become his next big misstep.
