Coming out, but the other way around: When a gay man suddenly finds himself attracted to women after all, it causes a whole lot of chaos in the family. René Heinersdorff’s romantic comedy skillfully turns a few clichés on their head. The premise is complicated: Bernd is married to Thomas and then realizes that he’s actually more into women after all. That’s because he’s fallen in love with Stephanie. Too bad his conservative parents—after lengthy discussions—have finally accepted his same-sex relationship with Thomas and are looking forward to the planned adoption of a child…
In the end, life always turns out differently than you think! The daily madness of interpersonal relationships, staged with plenty of emotion and situational comedy.
