About the play:
Erik Schultz doesn't have the heart to confess to his wife Linda that he lost his job two years ago. However, other sources of income open up for him: He exploits all the loopholes and legal loopholes in the welfare state and thus unleashes an avalanche of benefits that come flooding in: Unemployment benefit, citizen's allowance, housing benefit, sickness benefit, orphan's pension, care allowance, BAföG, dental allowance - Erik leaves nothing out! Then one day, when an external auditor from the social welfare office turns up at the door, the house of cards that Erik has built up threatens to collapse ...
About the association:
The association was founded back in 1919 and is dedicated to the "light muse". Originating from a group of young miners, it is part of our self-image to be folksy (but without falling into folksiness) and to delight our fellow human beings with our ambitious work.
