Oboe and piano - what initially sounds like a traditional instrumentation opens up an unimagined spectrum of tonal possibilities in this concert. Not only do cor anglais and toy piano expand the range of instruments, but Vicente Moronta (Caracas) and Kathrin Isabelle Klein (Munich) deliberately juxtapose works from the American continents with European compositions in their repertoire.
