Ungebunden - Neue Stimmen aus Kapitel Drei x Harbour Front Literaturfestival Hamburg

The Kapitel Drei book café is a place for stories—printed on the shelves, retold at the tables, or still unfinished on loose pages, just beginning to take shape. Amid coffee, conversations, and notebooks filled with writing, all kinds of people pick up a pen at Kapitel Drei: some with initial ideas, others already well into their manuscripts. Still unpublished, still unbound—and yet already authors. With “Ungebunden—New Voices from Kapitel Drei,” we’re creating a stage as part of the Harbour Front Festival for precisely these texts: for loose pages, chapters in progress, and stories that have yet to find their place in the world.

For one weekend, we’ll celebrate literature in the making—open, raw, and full of new, young voices.

Sunday, October 4, 2026: Ungebunden Literature Prize
Six selected authors (shortlist) will present their texts live before a jury and an audience.
In ten-minute slots, they’ll read from their unpublished works and offer a glimpse into texts
that are still in the making—unbound, but ready to be heard.
Following the readings, the first Ungebunden Literary Prize will be awarded.
