United Winds

The large and versatile wind orchestra rehearses weekly under the direction of Martin Stegemeier in a relaxed atmosphere and, above all, with lots of fun! In recent years, we have given numerous performances both inside and outside the music school. An integral part of this is the annual performance on the music school's stage in the Marktkirche on the occasion of the Fête de la Musique. Workshops and a concert with the Russian composer and multi-instrumentalist Arkady Shilkloper in 2024 were a particular highlight. Our repertoire ranges from festive music from the Baroque period to swing classics and groovy pieces from the charts. Players, especially on brass and percussion, are always welcome!
