Jarrestadt in Hamburg - a historically significant district caught between preservation and development. Since 2020, Jarrestadt has been funded as a project in the federal government's special program "National Urban Development Projects". The overarching aim is to carefully renovate the historic building fabric and open spaces to create a high quality of living and recreation in the district. The special architectural and open space character of the district is to be preserved and further developed in a contemporary way.
The Hamburg-Nord district office and its cooperation partners invite you to take stock together under the motto "Our Jarreschatz - looking back and looking forward".
In the context of keynote speeches and a panel discussion with experts from urban planning, architecture and open space planning, the development and redevelopment of the area to date will be reflected upon and future design perspectives outlined.
Afterwards, we cordially invite you to a gallery walk to the key project milestones and a get-together with snacks and drinks.
