As part of the "Cohesion in Diversity" day of action, a reading and discussion with Musa Deli on his new book "Invisible Walls" will take place in the Gerd Bucerius Hall on May 21 from 18:00.
Invisible Walls
Germany has long been a country of immigration - and yet real participation remains difficult to achieve for many people with a history of migration. In " Invisible Walls", Musa Deli shows why the current integration paradigm repeatedly fails: not because of a lack of appeals, but because of structural, often unspoken barriers - from cultural codes and role models to tokenism and media distortions.
The book is a clear, analytical and at the same time easily accessible contribution to the current debate - with the aim of understanding migration not as a threat but as an opportunity for the future and identifying the prerequisites for genuine openness and equal opportunities.
