In the organizer's words:
What colonial traces still shape Berlin today? The tour through Berlin-Mitte is about street names, monuments and places that tell of the colonial past - and of stories that remained invisible for a long time. We will shed light on Berlin's links with colonialism and its impact on the present day and conclude with a visit to the reading room of the Berlin collections to explore the topics in more depth.
