Unverschämte Schönheit - Fotografien

The exhibition shows around 150 photographs by well-known and lesser-known photographers from various genres of photography, from portraits to nudes and from journalistic photography to modern art photography. The unifying subject of all the photographs is the female body, which is the focus of almost all the selected works. The eroticism of the body, its unprocessed and natural beauty, celebrates a fascinating comeback that skillfully contrasts with the omnipresence of cultural zeitgeist.
All of the photographs are part of the Horbach Collection and refer not only to one of the most important collections of photography in Germany, but also to a collector who, as the curator of many exhibitions, has helped to shape the view of the history of photography in the 20th and 21st centuries.
