Slowly but surely, we are saying goodbye to our Swedish exhibition "So much garbage" about rethinking resources. As part of an upcycling finissage, we now want to work together to ensure that old things don't become new garbage and create new useful things from the exhibition's façade banners. In a bag-making workshop, sustainable bags will be created as a souvenir of the exhibition and the banners will be given a second life. Meanwhile, you can enjoy delicious coffee specialties and Kanelbullar in the coffee bar and visit the exhibition one last time.
The bag manufactory is a project of the House of Materialization in which new bags can be made from used textiles using simple techniques. The manufactory is dedicated to the question of how we can achieve a new understanding of resources, value and economy through the care and processing of materials as a social practice.
From big to small - everyone can try their hand at the colorful fabrics and tools and make their own creations based on four bag prototypes. No previous knowledge is necessary and you don't need to bring anything with you.
The event takes place in cooperation with Kunst-Stoffe e.V.
