It's that time again! The open-air season is in full swing and regular open-air events are once again taking place at the Stadtstrand. Together with Urbanite, we organize our ''URBAN SOUNDS'' every Friday on our Urbanite beach stage, where singers, songwriters, singer-songwriters and bands present their music. From alternative, indie, folk, pop to rock, there is a varied program every week.

On board this time:

JULIA MONTEZ - indie rock from Leipzig

Julia Montez is more than just a band, it is a musical experience created by singer/songwriter S.C. Roth.

The sonic magic comes from Roth's sensitive vocals and deft handling of his guitar, supported by a harmonious ensemble - backing vocals from Anna W., Volker Charné on bass and Der Fuller on drums - that forms a unique sonic entity on and off stage.

Their English-language music takes the audience on a captivating journey through the multifaceted landscapes of indie rock and pop. Elements inspired by electro-folk merge seamlessly with an atmospheric sound that transforms experiences and emotions into melodies.

On 12.01.2024 Julia Montez present their new album "CounterParts". This release promises an immersion into the simple beauty and depth of her music. The songs create thoughtful moments and accompany the listener through their own feelings and experiences.
