In their new work E(R)DEN, choreographer Ursina Tossi and her team explore the ambivalent character of the "Garden of Eden". For them, paradise is neither an otherworldly nor idyllic place, not a religious control room, not a place of longing and not a tourist resort.

It is a state of abundance that must be created. In times of ecological scarcity and dwindling closeness, contact and attention, E(R)DEN searches for the power of movement, encounter, warmth and ecstasy. Dance thus becomes a subversive practice that undermines the logic of efficiency and celebrates abundance. E(R)DEN digs into the layers of earth, history and desire and searches for another form of ground that is soft, permeable and alive.

What if paradise is not a geographical location, but an attitude of sharing and opening?
