UTO is a duo from Paris whose music seems to come from outer space. Familiar and strange, rhythmic yet transparent and ghostly - UTO thrive on contrasts and paradoxes. Described as witch-pop, dream-pop and trip-hop, they draw on the wealth of British music of the 90s, located on the periphery, always with that certain something.

Their latest single "Art & Life" fuses pulsating synthesizer lines with dynamic drum rhythms to create an uplifting, ethereal electronic track for the dancefloor. This introspective and sonically captivating single is somewhat reminiscent of the Chemical Brothers, but goes far beyond that and is a first taste of their second album "When All We Want To Do Is Be The Fire Part Of Fire", which will be released on April 12.
