Workshop with Dr. Alexander Neupert* (Karlsruhe): Induction and seduction to utopian thinking

Part of the project "Everything can be better - developing utopias"

In times of social crisis, the question of real alternatives becomes more important: How do we want to live? In the workshop, we will clarify what utopias actually are (introduction), what they are good for (introduction) and how utopian thinking can be tried out in the face of current adversities (e.g. racism, global warming, rent, sexism, work) (seduction). Previous knowledge is not necessary. However, registration is required. The participation fee includes a lunch break with drinks and tasty snacks!

*Alexander Neupert is currently a research associate for political philosophy in the DFG project 'From Authoritarianism to Utopia' at Karlshochschule Karlsruhe. In 2015 he published his book 'Utopie - Vom Roman zur Denkfigur', followed in 2018 by the anthology 'Konkrete Utopien - Unsere Alternativen zum Nationalismus'.
