Berlin is a melting pot of international artists who come together to exchange ideas and create works that are unique to this city. The trio of Portuguese drummer/percussionist Sofia Borges, Japanese pianist Rieko Okuda and Canadian saxophonist Peter Van Huffel is a collaborative project born within and from the energy of Berlin's experimental music scene. It brings together three individual voices working together to develop a sonic atmosphere of improvised music through spontaneous connection and communication. Their individual and contrasting backgrounds form the landscape for their collaborative explorations on the musical stage, with each performance as unique as the next.
