Comedy by Gilles Dyrek

Patricia is dragged to a dinner by her boyfriend, with whom she has had a big argument, where she doesn't know anyone. Furious, she decides not to say a word the whole evening, which leads to the hosts mistaking her for a foreigner. Patricia joins in the game with diabolical glee: she suddenly starts speaking a fantasy language and invents a war-torn homeland called Chouvenien. When her hosts force gifts on her for the suffering people of her homeland, she happily accepts them and even has a lot of fun encouraging them to do new "good deeds" for their countrymen, until the whole thing almost degenerates into tragedy.
A wicked but incredibly entertaining comedy that has been a cult hit in France for more than 20 years and has lost none of its topicality.
