Fascinated by the music of the Roaring Twenties, saxophonist Mulo Francel, who normally plays with the band Quadro Nuevo, took on a challenge:
To transfer the smile of the music of that era into a modern context.
With a team of fabulous musicians and with an instrument that was widely used in the popular music of the 1920s and suddenly disappeared forever:
The C-Melody saxophone is characterized by a frivolous sound. Almost circus-like, with a positive timbre.
To the extravagantly and energetically interpreted melodies from the Golden Twenties such as George Gershwin's Summertime or The Man I Love, the musicians add their own sound fables that tell of their adventurous touring life.
