We are delighted to have found great partners for you to satisfy both small and large appetites: When you present your ticket, you will receive a 20% discount at Chili-s (Indian restaurant) and moini Steinofenpizza on the day of the vernissage. Both are just around the corner in Westwerk, a two-minute walk from the gallery. So you can easily grab a tasty snack before the vernissage or in between.

We opened our SKM Gallery in Leipzig in June 2024 and are now delighted to be able to show regularly changing exhibitions here. In the upcoming exhibition, works by eight different artists from our large community are curated.

From colorful abstraction to romantic landscapes and dark fantasy worlds, we invite you on a journey through different art styles. Get to know the SKM artists and exchange ideas with them in person. You can expect a small supporting program, cool drinks and of course exciting and varied art. In addition, some artists from the SKM community will be on site again, looking forward to exchanging ideas with you!

Since 2020, we have been regularly organizing art exhibitions on site, bringing our online concept"Studierenden Kunstmarkt" from the virtual to the real world. We bring art students from all parts of Germany and this year even Europe together and thus enable creative exchange and inspiration not only among the students themselves, but also between artists and art enthusiasts.

ABOUT STUDENT ART MARKET

With Studierenden Kunstmarkt, we want to support art students on their way into independent artistic life and give works that are created during their studies a stage. Through SKM, we offer art enthusiasts the opportunity to discover and acquire exciting and multifaceted art of various subjects by young artists. With SKM, our mission is to make art more accessible and at the same time more personal. In the last 2 years, we have enabled over 300 students to exhibit and sell their work in our online gallery.

With the gallery, we not only want to create a place to show art, but also a place where encounters, inspiration and exchange can take place. A place that is open to ideas and creativity.

With this in mind, we cordially invite you to the vernissage to fill this place and this vision with life. We look forward to seeing you there in large numbers, to exciting encounters and inspiring conversations with you!
