Vernissage: Abdriften - artspring berlin

In the organizer's words:

The Pop Up Store brings together works in which space and direction shift. Collage, painting, drawing and object show pictorial spaces, forms and signs that are not entirely fixed. Perspectives tilt, spaces remain elusive, individual parts reassemble themselves.

Here,drifting away does not appear as a sudden break, but as a slow change. An escape sign no longer reliably points the way. Figures move through a space that remains undefined. Architectural forms are disassembled, mirrored and reassembled. What changes does not usually do so suddenly, but gradually.

The exhibition in the Pop Up Store shows works by Gosia Hejnat, Sylvia Lorenz, Svitlana Vol, Horst Dietzel, Alexandra Schlund, Dagmar Kolatschny, Andrea Lein, Thomas Möller and Sandra Zuanovic.
