Gabriele Stolz has chosen constant re- and upcycling as the creative principle for her works. She builds mysterious picture puzzles on architectural plans and her own etchings. With precise drawings, lines of text from newspapers and all kinds of discarded objects that are reworked and reassembled, she places seemingly familiar everyday objects in strange spaces and contexts.
