Under the title THE DEVIL IS IN THE DETAILS , Eliane Diur presents new paintings that draw inspiration from personal experiences and self-reflection. The exhibition serves both as a retrospective on her studies in Prof. Ivana de Vivanco’s painting class at the HGB and as an exploration of the process of image creation itself.
How do images come into being, and how do motifs change over the course of her development as a painter? With great sensitivity to detail, Diur focuses on moments in which the familiar tips over into the mysterious.
