Vernissage „Glacier Simulation“ von Hans Peter Perner | Galerie Verve
In the organizer's words:
We are pleased to cordially invite you to the upcoming exhibition*Glacier Simulation*. The opening reception will take place onThursday, August 13, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.at Galerie Verve, with opening remarks by Dr. Renée Gadsden.
Hans Peter Perner’ssolo exhibition explores the glacier as the starting point for a painterly investigation of change, time, and perception.
The glacier appears not merely as a landscape motif, but as a visible site of change. Its retreat is scientifically documented and, at the same time, can be experienced firsthand. Between observation of nature, memory, and painterly transformation, pictorial spaces emerge that engage with processes of melting, condensation, dissolution, and emergence.
In an era shaped by digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and complex information systems, the exhibition turns its focus to the direct experience of nature and landscape. Painting thus becomes a medium for observation and reflection.
