With exhibition no. 296 PRIVACY FILM from Thursday, February 5, 2026, 7 pm, INSELGALERIE Berlin starts the new year and presents positions by MARIELLA MOSLER, YAMO AYDEMIR and AEREE SUL, who combine videos and objects to create spatial installations. The step into darkness is the program. It is about closeness and distance, the visible and the hidden, urban spaces and human interactions, memories, desires, movements through landscape and nature. The black box becomes a resonance chamber for what is shown or withdrawn. The resulting intimacy changes the shared experience. The vernissage begins with a performance by the artist Fatih Cimdiken aka DIKEN.
