"I wish you dreams that never end!" The chansonnier Jacques Brel proclaimed on French radio on the morning of January 1, 1968. "I wish you to resist torpor, because life is a wonderful adventure and happiness is our true destiny." At the height of a hard-fought career, during an acclaimed worldwide tour, he had suddenly realized that he still had so many dreams to realize: learning to fly like Antoine de St Exupéry, sailing around the world ... And the man who had left his settled life 15 years earlier to realize his dream of singing in Paris, left the stage and set off on new adventures. "I have never stopped dreaming. Only he who dreams is truly free."
