20 YEARS VERSENGOLD - THE ANNIVERSARY

Against the background of the dynamics and intensity of the live shows, which the 6 guys from Bremen of VERSENGOLD tirelessly present to their constantly growing audience, it is hard to imagine that the recent successes of the band have been preceded by a meanwhile twenty-year history. What started in 2003 as a hobby project around the campfire, should grow organically and sustainably over years of professionalization, several line-up changes and stylistic reorientation towards folk rock to a size that none of the founding members would have thought possible.

VERSENGOLD really took off with their first chart album "Zeitlos" (#22) in 2015 and produced 3 more albums in succession, all of which reached the Top 5 of the German album charts. The most recent highlight is the #1 album "Was kost die Welt" (2022), which even after 2 years of pandemic-related restrictions continues the success narrative of the folk rockers unbroken.

With 20 years and hundreds of performances of stage experience, unbridled enthusiasm, bubbling joy of playing and - after 2 years of pandemic - a defiant "now more than ever" - attitude VERSENGOLD are well prepared to present a show for the 20th anniversary that has it all.

In addition to special guests on stage, a unique light show and the well-known magical atmosphere between band and fans, brand new and previously unreleased songs in their world premiere will make the event an unforgettable evening.

The show will be a one-off at Hamburg's Barclays Arena on 04.11.2023 - the night before, the band will give an exclusive warm-up concert in the intimate club atmosphere of Hamburg's Grünspan. With the exception of the "Night of Ballads" concept shows in spring, there will be no other club or indoor concerts in the entire year 2023.
