Three multi-billionaires meet at the bar. What sounds like the beginning of a joke is the starting point for a wry yet melancholy musical comedy set between Silicon Valley and Mars. Written and composed by the Danish universal artist Madame Nielsen.
Bill Gates, Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg meet by chance in a nightclub. They have money, a lot of money in fact, but they are not happy because so many people in the world are not doing well. Their ideas for saving the world are contradictory. So they set off for the stars to finally create a perfect world from the red dust. A satirical music trip about the worries and dreams of the super-rich.
A mind-expanding sound somewhere between David Bowie and Tom Waits, the atmospheres oscillating somewhere between Stanley Kubrick and Monty Python. With "Very Rich Angels", the celebrated Danish director Christian Lollike and Madame Nielsen, whose novels such as "The Endless Summer", "The Monster" and "Lamento" are also bestsellers in Germany, are creating a theater production in German-speaking countries for the first time.
