On Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 5:00 pm, the renowned ensemble Vocal Concert Dresden will perform Vespers in Dresden's Kreuzkirche. Under the direction of Peter Kopp, they will perform a program that celebrates the radiance of the Epiphany season. With works such as Michael Praetorius' "Wie schön leuchtet der Morgenstern", Heinrich Schütz' "Es ist erschienen die heilsame Gnade Gottes" and compositions by Brahms, Haßler and Tallis, the church's long tradition of church music is brought to life.

For over 30 years, the ensemble has impressed with its stylistic confidence and elegant music-making. The spectrum of Vocal Concert Dresden ranges from the baroque tradition to the modern. Founder and director Peter Kopp, Professor of Conducting and Rector of the Evangelische Hochschule Halle, guarantees the highest artistic quality.
