Video in Dialogue "Flowering and Fading" by Andro Eradze
The Video in Dialogue event series opens up a space in which the boundaries between work and viewer come to the fore in a special way. Led by Franziska Derksen (M.A.), the format aims at an in-depth, collaborative examination of video art as a medium of reflection and resonance.

In a time characterized by consumption and rapid reception, Video in Dialogue invites people to pause, consciously experience what is shown and develop a variety of interpretations and associations in a joint discussion. This discussion round after the viewing, which is not a guided tour or didactic instruction, but an exchange at eye level, puts the act of seeing itself up for debate: How do movements, cuts, voices and images shape us? What roles do we take on as viewers? In this sense, the format becomes a performative practice.
Video in Dialogue is therefore not only an offer to art enthusiasts, but also an experimental model of how art can be experienced in collective reflection beyond institutional mediation claims. The focus on the interplay of perception and interpretation makes this series of events a space for thinking and experiencing.
