Since its founding in 1984, ImPulsTanz – Vienna International Dance Festival has become one of the most important festivals for contemporary dance and performance. Every summer, it transforms Vienna into a vibrant meeting place for international artists, dance enthusiasts, and curious visitors.
The festival is known for its exceptionally diverse program, which combines performances, workshops, research projects, and musical formats. Year after year, this creates an open space for movement, artistic exchange, and new perspectives on dance and performance.
