In the organizer's words:
Life is anything but sunny at the "Villa Sonnenschein" retirement home. Care and visits are rare and the home's director, Mechthild, pursues greedy plans with Dr. Mathieu. When the young carer Felix gets onto their trail, he mobilizes the elderly to revolt. With renewed courage, they fight against oblivion and fight for dignity, freedom and a bit of happiness in old age.
