Violenza 2025 von Michiel Vandevelde, Pankaj Tiwari und Eneas Prawdzic

In the organizer's words:

They are dissatisfied, reject the current social order and have recently voted on the right: young men. Hardly any other population group is contributing more to the rise of right-wing parties - both worldwide and in Germany. After working with left-wing young people, Vandevelde, Tiwari and Prawdzic have now immersed themselves in the opposing milieu. The result is a contentious and physical play featuring five young men. They are calling for the end of liberal democracy and believe they will soon be in the majority.

Violenza 2025 is "a powerful, at times almost unbearable warning play" (Salzburger Nachrichten), a disturbing preview of what could happen if they are right in their predictions.

The performance on February 8 will be followed by a discussion with the Hamburger Abendblatt journalist Maike Schiller.
