Violet Festival TAG 3 - Queere Wundertüte

HOPpalla - we're doing a festival! The House of Pumps collective (HOP) is back - with VIOLET #4 in XXL! What usually lights up for one evening now becomes a three-day space for queer art and community. For the first time, the doors will open for an entire festival weekend: Come as queer as you are - and stay that way. It starts on Friday with a performance, arrivals, reunions, getting to know each other - and dancing! We start the festival weekend with a performance and then move to the Pumpenhaus foyer for a get-together. Saturday then turns up the heat - with workshops and the fourth VIOLET evening: catwalk, magic, performance, DJs. As always: anything goes, nothing is a must - we just promise that it will be wild, queer and unexpected. And because every good weekend deserves a good ending, there will be a get-together on Sunday with a relaxing movie and community vibes. Can you smell the popcorn yet? Are you ready to get VIOLET?

Sunday will be relaxed! From the afternoon there will be a community café with waffles, tea and space to relax, unwind and exchange ideas after the brilliant festival days. This will be accompanied by a small discussion format with guests on queer culture and festival topics. Later, you can end the day with a movie in the Pumpenhaus. The café will remain open throughout - a relaxed space for encounters and discussions.

Sunday shifts into a softer, more open format. Starting later in the afternoon, it takes the shape of a community café with waffles, tea, and space to slow down, connect, and reflect together after the previous days. Alongside this, there will be a small panel-style moment with invited guests and collaborators, offering short insights and conversations around queer culture, local contexts, and some of the ideas that have shaped the festival. Later in the day, there is the option to attend a film screening, with tickets available on the door. The café space will remain open throughout, so people can dip in and out, stay for a chat, or simply spend time together. Overall, Sunday is about bringing things together. A gentle landing point for the festival, with space for conversation, exchange, and a more informal way of being together.
