Two Leipzig projects that fit together wonderfully - in the new Albrecht Hall at Ilse Erika:

VISCOUS have recently been attracting attention in Leipzig. They only released their debut EP "Nothing Yet" in the summer of 2025 and played hand-picked shows that already made people prick up their ears.

The hushed, slightly shoegazey approach in their dark synth pop worlds should be a bright (sic!) joy for many a creature of the night...

ZALVOX is the music project of sound designer Ribi (Liebknecht, Static Sky) from Erfurt and the Leipzig singer Dorain (ex riga, ex framheim).
The two came together musically in the summer of 2023.

The sounds created by Ribi exclusively with hardware synths, grooveboxes and samplers, combined with Dorain's expressive and distinctive voice, result in an exciting, minimalist, yet atmospheric mix between electro-pop and synth-wave.

"Zalmoxis Peak", their first EP, was released digitally in December 2024 and received extremely positive reviews, e.g. on alternation.eu, Medienkonverter and Idieyoudie.com.

The first album is in the works and is expected to be released in early summer 2026. Zalvox 2025 have performed live as support for DeVision Redux and AUGER, at the Wave-Gotik-Treffen and the Fourscher Festival and accompanied END OF TRANSMISSION on their record release tour.
