Vogue Femme - Empowerment Through Movement (EN)

Hein is from Myanmar and has been involved in the ballroom scene and community support since 2021. He began in Poland with the categories known as All American Runway and Old Way. Later in 2022, “Vogue Fem” became his main category on the Kiki and Major scenes. He is currently based in Leipzig and has also organized FFs (Friday Functions Leipzig) and showcases.

Led by Hein, participants will learn the fundamental history of voguing and the five basic elements of “Vogue Femme.” This workshop is beginner-friendly and includes both theory and practice. Through short choreographed sequences and free improvisation, participants will build self-confidence, expressiveness, and mutual support within the group.

The workshop will be conducted in English to create an open and international space and to appeal to people from diverse backgrounds. No prior dance experience is required.
