The Festival Just Outside the City

A unique festival right in the heart of the Rhine-Main region. In addition to exciting bands, theater, cabaret, performances, and a fantastic children’s program—all with completely free admission, as always .

At the cozy Dornberg Castle in Groß-Gerau, you’ll be transported to another world. Easily accessible from Frankfurt via a short train ride (S7, RE70). New Model Army, Heavysaurus, Young Rebel Set, and The Robbie Experience are just a small part of the packed lineup. Plus, on Saturday and Sunday, there are children’s concerts, street theater, face painting, balloon art, and childcare.

Volk im Schloss is a place where people come together, where it doesn’t matter where you’re from, what you look like, what language you speak, what ethnicity you identify with, or whom you love. Everyone is invited.
