"Of pigeons and monuments"

Lasting poetry and sneaky songs: PROST & PROSA poet Volker Camehn presents his new program "Von Tauben und Denkmälern", the title of his current book, on Thursday, 16 October 2025, from 19:30 in the Taufkirchen community library.

The "poetry punk" from Otterfing reads old and new texts, garnished and complemented with his own idiosyncratic songs. A tender and bitter cycle of poems and songs between laughter and tears, anger, melancholy and wordplay, politics and farce. Volker Camehn has published eight books to date and has a steadily growing fan base not only in the district.
