A stroll through old Berlin by moonlight: Here, nighttime tales come to life and familiar sights appear in a new light.

As the moon shines over the rooftops of the Nikolaiviertel or onto the waters of the Spree, you’ll hear stories of Old Berlin by night. For example, from the pub “Zum Nußbaum,” where Heinrich Zille used to go for a beer at the original location on Fischerinsel. Or the story of “Nacht-Emma” from the Knoblauchhaus, one of the last surviving 18th-century Berlin townhouses.

The tour also rewards you with unique nighttime views: experience old alleyways by lantern light, gaze from the statue of Georg the Dragon Slayer toward the Berlin Palace, or look out from the Mühlendamm Bridge toward the cathedral.
