From February 17 to April 7, 2024, they will be scurrying through the museum again and taking hearts by storm: yellow, brown, black, spotted and striped chicks. Not only are they cute, they are also ambassadors for sustainability and respectful treatment of animals.
Tiny and round or big and colorful - children and adults can find out who lays which eggs and whether the Picasso bird really exists by solving puzzles together on the new quiz wall. The ethnological collection also presents egg-related festivals and customs.
Note for families: It is best to leave the baby carriage at home when visiting the museum, as it cannot be taken into the exhibitions. Only in exceptional cases can it be left on the ground floor. Baby and child carriers without metal bars may be carried throughout the museum.
