Imagine: Like every morning, I crawl out of my cozy mole hole, stick my nose out into the fresh air - and bam! Suddenly something warm, soft and disgusting lands directly on my head. On my head of all places! What a cheek.

I want to know who hit me on the head. So I go out and ask all the animals on the farm: the horse, the cow, the pig, the chickens. Each animal shows me what its poo looks like. They all say "It wasn't me." Great! Will I find out who hit me on the head in the end? Of course I will! I'm not just any mole. I'm the mole who wanted to know who hit him on the head. In this affectionate children's opera based on the book of the same name, composer Elisabeth Naske takes us on a musical journey full of funny experiences with the little mole, who is somehow quite big.
