Vomito Negro is a Belgian music group that was founded in 1983 by Gin Devo. The band's beginnings were characterized by experimental soundscapes that combined elements of industrial, EBM (electronic body music) and noise. Their early work was strongly influenced by the dark atmosphere and artistic tendencies of the Belgian industrial scene. In the following years, the band released a series of further albums, including "Dare" (1988), "Shock" (1989), "Human" (1990) and "The New Drug" (1991). These albums established Vomito Negro as one of the leading forces in the field of experimental electronic music. They toured extensively throughout Europe and became known for their energetic live performances. In the 1990s, their sound continued to evolve as they continued to release albums such as "Wake Up" (1992) and "Compiled" (1992). Although the musical landscape changed, Vomito Negro remained true to the dark atmosphere and industrial sound. In the following decades, the band remained active and regularly released new music. They experimented with different styles and sounds, but remained true to their unique sound. Their albums such as 'Fireball' (2002), 'Skull & Bones' (2010) and 'Entitled' (2021) are testament to their artistic development and continued relevance in the electronic music scene. Vomito Negro remains active, and their live performances are known for their energetic stage presence and loyal fan base. Their constant innovation and unique fusion of electronic sounds and dark atmospheres have secured them a permanent place in the history of electro-industrial music.
