In the organizer's words:
The sudden death of the love of his life prompted him to write letters to her. STEPHAN VELTEN, known as a visual artist, used this method to process his grief over the unexpected loss of his wife, the much-admired cabaret artist GRETEL SCHULZE, on April 4, 2019. He confronts this melancholy phase of his life in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic by looking back on their childhood, youth and time together in the GDR and post-reunification. A declaration of love and sadness in the alternation of daily events, captivating and emotional, amusing and openly told.
