What impetus is needed to give climate protection a broad social basis? How can climate-friendly steps and cuts be communicated? How much are citizens willing to invest in a future worth living? The large floating globe Floating Earth by artist Luke Jerram on the mash pond impressively shows us how fragile and vulnerable our planet really is. It invites us to take a new and perhaps different look at the world and encourages us to take action. Prominent representatives from politics, science and the arts talk about the drivers of sustainable action, resistance, small and large successes. It seems clear that climate change can only be stopped by working together. But how can this community be achieved?
Anja Ritschel (Head of Economic Affairs LHH Hannover), Anja Floetenmeyer-Woltmann (Managing Director Climate Protection Agency Region Hannover), Prof. Dirk Baecker (Zeppelin University Friedrichshafen) and others will discuss this.
