Von Blümchenkaffee, Mokka und Coffee To Go – Kaffeegenuss in Leipzig
In the organizer's words:
On this (historical) tour, we go on a journey through 350 years of coffee culture in Leipzig and Saxony. The tour is conducted in simple language and begins in the ballroom of the Old Town Hall. Coffee beans once found their way into coffee cups at the market next to the town hall thanks to the Leipzig Trade Fair. A short walk through the city leads past historic coffee houses and ends with an international coffee tasting.
An event organized by the Welcome Centre (Department for Migration and Integration) in cooperation with the City History Museum.
It takes place as part of the Intercultural Weeks Leipzig (23.08. - 29.09.2024).
